Charleston has announced initiatives in the past couple of weeks to use "spikes" and cameras to fight crime.

I dont think the spikes will solve anything. I can understand camera's in the parking garage, but I was not aware that City Hall had a crime problem. Wow, no wonder the East End and West Side have such problems, The hub of city government is so crime ridden that they need to install cameras, if that is the case, I don't see any hope for the rest of town.
