Are you ready for 10 digit dialing
The new 681 area code goes into effect on Saturday. No one will be assigned the new area code right a way. Only new numbers will receive the new 681 area code. All old number will keep the old 304 area code.
The big change is you will now have to dial 304 + the seven digit number to dial a local numbers.

I had hoped that they would split the state so that I could talk smack on the folks in 681, like they do out in California. Now I'm stuck insulting people with new cell phones? Boring.
