Slack Plaza Update
Turns out the trees in Slack Plaza were removed because they had, "became a problem and were losing limbs."

About a dozen Bradford pears at Slack Plaza have been cut down, chopped up and shredded this week. The city plans to plant new trees there, but possibly not until the park is redesigned at Mayor Danny Jones’ request to eliminate friction between people who walk through and those who sit in the park.
